Electives for 6th Grade:
Please visit WCPSS.net and select Academics, then select Middle, then select Rising 6th Graders. Choose your base school and view the electives with your child. We will be selecting electives on Thursday April 14th in the computer lab and it would be much easier for your child if they already had an idea of what they wanted to select. You can also use this link to view the electives. http://www.wcpss.net/Page/3798
Strategic Plan 2020 for WCPSS-
From the WCPSS website: “In the spring of 2014, several hundred people gathered on a Friday night to talk about the future of public education in Wake County. That discussion was followed by an online survey that attracted 11,000 participants, a town hall meeting of more than 750 people and months of debate among parents, teachers, students, community leaders and educators. The result was a strategic plan first presented in January 2015 and detailed here.” http://www.wcpss.net/strategic-plan
